There seems to be no way to control double sided printing. An application like this should be able to manage double sided printing as well as long or short side binding.

I tried this out to print to a photo printer... but the setup is very restrictive. It just attempts to print and if it cant you cannot make adjustments. For example, my photo printer prints 4x6 only. It is a DNP RX-1 Printer. In setup it attempted to print, but my printer errored out saying it set a paper size the printer doesnt support. There is no way to adjust it. No advanced button to accomodate different sizes. I gave up and deleted it.

Cannot get it to connect to either of my printers. "This printer may not be supported". A one year old Samsung laser jet....I would think not. Anyway.....deleted immediate.

I have no idea if my printer passed or failed. It printed the test page but I dont know what the test page was supposed to look like so not sure if it worked properly. You define fail as printing black - black what? Seeing a correct image would help comparison.

I bought this app because e-print can not figure out how to work wit IOS8 While it basically works in a similar way, it is much easier to use and has good directions for each step. High recommendation is in order.

It just checks to see if you can print a text page. To print out a document, you have to buy the Full Version at $49! Uninstalling.

In order to print I have to buy the full version thats 50$$$$$$ are you serious! Forget it will cont to use my computer! Why does the phone have a print option if I have to buy an app for it to work!!!

You make great apps but dont start dropping older apps just to make users Re-purchase them. First Printer "pro"... Whats next. Thats bad business stepping on the people that made you successful. I own almost all your apps so dont make me take my business elsewhere.

This app does exactly what it says it should. It TESTS your setup to see if you can print from your iOS device to printers on your network. If it is successful, it takes you to where you can buy Printer Pro Classic - which is $50. But, they also have Printer Pro - which is only $7. Both print from any app that supports the “Open In…” command.

This app is horrible! As its designed to test compatibility with your printer, they dont warn of possible issues. For me it blew through a half ream of paper, printing gibberish before I could cancel the job. Be careful while using this app.

Like others who commented, a simple compatibility check resulted in 50 or so ruined sheets of paper. I ended up having to reset my printer to fix the problem. Avoid this app.

As the description of this app makes plain, this is NOT a printing app, it is a compatibility testing app. To avoid wasting paper, only load a few sheets. Another hint for the 1-star reviewers that dont read descriptions: DONT test it with your expensive photo paper! Why would you buy the full app? If you have a perfectly good but older printer that doesnt have AirPrint built in, this helps you leverage your existing printer. I have an older Samsung laser printer that doesnt have AirPrint but that I can still use from my iOS devices. Rather than shelling out a few hundred for a new laser, I can pay $7 to use my very good quality existing printer.

Tested my printer and it printed one sheet perfectly. Dont know where the others are paying $50. It is only 6.99 for full version.

All this app does is test if you can print, it does not demo any of the full app features or capabilities. All it does is print a test page. The full app could be the greatest printing app ever conceived, but after this "test" they couldnt pay me to use it.

This app only prints test page. How can anyone purchase the pro version if this doesnt give you a sample.

Best app Ive ever downloaded. Easy to work and if your printer is set up properly it never fails.

All it lets you do is print a test Page and calibrated it. When I try to print a PDF document it doesnt find a printer. Deleting the app off my iPhone.

The description and photos are misleading you into buying the full version. I will have no part in supporting this unethical business practice. Do not buy the full version, there are other apps that do the same thing for free.

This is not a "lite" version of printer pro. It is only a calibration tool. It has no printing functionality. You must buy the full version to actually print. Apple sound remove this app until the developer either renames it as something like printer pro calibrator or adds actual printer functionality
